Here we define ECRs in a broad sense, to include researchers with or without a PhD working in survey data collection organisations as well as post-doctoral research fellows (PDRFs) working in academia.
Two mini-conferences for ECRs/PDRFs will be organised to support professional development, one at the University of Essex in Colchester and one at the University of Manchester. The ECRs/PDRFs will be expected to present their own work and to discuss the work of others and will receive feedback from senior colleagues as well as attending training sessions. The mini-conferences are primarily for researchers working on the Survey Futures research strands, but a limited number of places will also be available to other ECRs.
